EB Riding Tip:

Brake setup: How many fingers do you brake with? These days, with the technology of disc brakes, we are able to have much more control of our brakes with much less effort.
Try moving your brake levers towards the center of the bike, so that you can comfortably squeeze the brake lever with one finger (index). This will give you all the power you need, much better control and it will improve your handlebar grip too!

BC Bike Race Update: Day Four

Posted: July 1, 2008

Day 4 begins early, 4:30am to be exact was the time that the rubber chicken into a megaphone came by the tents to wake everyone up. Although for very good reason as we had a two ferry crossings courtesy of BC Ferries, from Comox on Vancovuer Island to Powell River, then to Earl's Cove via the Saltery Bay ferry. Pristine BC coastline to say the least! Wow, well worth the wake-up call.... kind of.

The day was definitely rough on everyone's system but the singletrack on hand was enough to keep everyone excited. Finally, the true single-track experience that everyone was hoping for!

Team EB had a strong day, finishing 1st in the 4-person team category for the 2nd day in a row. All 4 riders are still going strong, in fact, building strength on the way. EB is currently in 1st place in the overall classification.
