Cornering tip: To develop solid cornering skills for moderate to high speed flat corners, try rotating your torso to look into the desired direction of your turn with 'all 3 eyes'. As you increase speed, get lower and lower to keep a low centre of gravity, to be able to lean the bike over farther to gain traction and maintain momentum! Have fun!
Endless Biking Trail Update: Richard Juryn Memorial Trail
Posted: March 4, 2009
Just a quick trail update. The Richard Juryn Trail is an XC trail suitable for beginner to intermediate riders located in North Vancouver. With it’s close proximity to to Capilano University and the Iron Workers Memorial Bridge, it is the perfect place to head for an after work ride.
Branden the “Intern” and I had the chance to go for a spin in the sunshine yesterday after work. We decided to go towards Capilano University, not knowing what the snow line looked like. We were pleasantly surprised that the majority of the snow had disappeared and the Richard Juryn was completely rideable. After shredding the downhill section of the Richerd Juryn, we dropped into the new section of the Baden Powell to finish our ride.
The Richard Juryn Trail is open and there is no snow. Go Ride Your Bike!
