EB Riding Tip:

Cornering tip: To develop solid cornering skills for moderate to high speed flat corners, try rotating your torso to look into the desired direction of your turn with 'all 3 eyes'. As you increase speed, get lower and lower to keep a low centre of gravity, to be able to lean the bike over farther to gain traction and maintain momentum! Have fun!

EB – Around the World!

Posted: June 17, 2009

Hey Darren and Kelly,

I thought you guys might like to see this pic. It’s a pic of me after a local DH race here (New Brunswick), I was sporting the jersey I bought from you guys for the race and ended up in 2nd place in the open sport division. Must have been the super cool jersey that made me go fast haha.

How are things on the Shore? I’m sure biking season is into full swing now. I’m super jealous I’m not there with my new ride shredding the trails, but that will come some day.

Later days,

Dave T

Shimano Saint Disc Brakes Video

Posted: June 15, 2009

Check out this video of Shimano team riders Wade Simmons and Andrew Shandro ripping the North Shore on the brand new 4 piston Saint FR/DH brake.

New and improved for this year, Shimano Saint disc brake calipers offer a 4-piston, dual-diameter design that accommodates more oil for better temperature management while maintaining superior modulation and improved pad wear. The newly improved Hydraulic Servo-Wave Brake Levers improves modulation and uses an intuitive tool-free brake lever reach adjustment.

Endless Biking Instructors and Guides have been running these brakes for a few months now and I can tell you they are amazing, but dont take our word for it. Check out this video or www.ridesaint.com for more info.

Kim – West Vancouver

“I just have to tell you – I wen to SFU on Friday and rode a whole section of trial that I used to walk! I sessioned it until I could ride each of the trickier bits, and then I went back and rode the whole thing clean. I didn’t fall, and it didn’t seem scary anymore. It makes a huge difference knowing how to approach things.”

“I have been telling everyone I know how great the lessons are. Thanks for the great coaching!”

Adult Progression Sessions – Level 1 June

Posted: June 10, 2009

The beginning of any Summer month is a busy time around Endless Biking. Monday, June 1, was the first night of Adult Progression Session: Learn To Ride. As you can see from the picture, one of our most popular adult programs is building even more in popularity.

Designed for beginner riders, Progression Session: Learn To Ride, progressively builds confidence in basic basic skills such as body positioning, braking, gearing, cornering, straight line riding, etc. Whether you have commuted for 10 years, just bought a new bike, or are a beginner North Shore mountain biker, this program is for you.

“Keep doing what you do because your instruction has given me the confidence to ride. Before this course I could not ride the North Road Trail on Burnaby Mountain without stopping every 10 seconds from fear of not knowing what to do on the next section. Since I completed the course, I can ride that trail from top to bottom non-stop. I feel so much better as a rider, I even ventured out to Ned’s last week with my brother who is an advanced rider… Thank you guys!!!”(PS: LTR)

Andrew, Vancouver Adult Progression Sessions: Learn To Ride, July, is now taking registration. Please call the Endless Biking office at 604-985-2519 to register or check it out here.
