EB Riding Tip:

Cornering tip: To develop solid cornering skills for moderate to high speed flat corners, try rotating your torso to look into the desired direction of your turn with 'all 3 eyes'. As you increase speed, get lower and lower to keep a low centre of gravity, to be able to lean the bike over farther to gain traction and maintain momentum! Have fun!

BC Bike Race 2010 a wrap!

Well, another BC Bike Race is in the books and we’re already planning for next year!  We had an absolute blast as we teamed up with a great crew of people for the week, which became known as the ‘Gypsy Caravan’ crew.

Each day we set up a great camp in a new location and we all worked toghether to help each other out.  It really was a great week of comaraderie, friendships that will last a lifetime and an unbelievable singletrack experience.

We had the opportunity to ride in North Vancouver, Nanaimo, Cumberland, Powell River, Earl’s Cove, Sechelt, Robert’s Creek, Squamish and Whistler.  Each day was the ‘best day yet’, by the end of the week, each rider had a different favorite day.  This is a real testament to the quality of the course for BCBR this year, it really was top-notch.

I highly recommend signing up for the BC Bike Race next year, they have early bird signup open until July 15.  The race will sell out again next year, even quicker as the word is getting out.

To all the members of the ‘Gypsy Caravan’ crew, thanks for an amazing week that we’ll remember forever!
