Kootenay Getaway Camp for Women

Come on out for a "women's only" mountain bike camp getaway. Situated in the beautiful and historic mountain town of New Denver (near Nelson, BC). On the shores of Slocan Lake, the surroundings couldn't be more perfect for a summer weekend of mountain adventure. With trails, instruction and progressions for all levels of riders.

The camp features two days of instruction from Endless Biking's top professionals: Kelli Sherbinin, Danika Schroeter, Johanna Weintrager & Deb MacKillop.

Endless Biking will be Crankworx!

Whistler: July 24-29

Come and say hi to Endless Biking instructors Kelli Sherbinin and Darren Butler at the Shimano booth at Crankworx this week. EB will be at the Crankworx festival from July 24-July 29.

Endless Biking will be in the Shimano booth for most of the week but we have some lesson booked in the Bike Park as well, so be sure to say hi if we get to see you and we'll go for a lap of the park.

Hot Wheels: Drops, Jumps, Steeps

Whistler: Aug 18, 19

Endless Biking and the Corridor Club are excited to bring you the Hot Wheels camp in Whistler for the 3rd consecutive year.

Are you ready to take your riding to the next level? Are you ready to learn the proper technique to getting those wheels off the ground and gain more confidence with sustained technical steeps? If you can answer yes, this is the camp for you.

Get top-notch instruction by professional riders Kelli Sherbinin Katrina Strand, two of the top female instructors/riders who both have very accomplished careers as women in freeriding and racing in Canada,

Both days will take place in the Whistler Bike Park, with the first session covering the essential skills in preparation to getting the advanced techniques dialed. The second day will be spent focusing on the essential elements of successful: drops, jumps and steep terrain techniques.

This camp is geared toward intermediate to advanced riders who want to improve their freerding techniques. No jumping or drop experience required. Riding levels will be divided into groups. More info on Hot Wheels.

Endless Biking instructor to lead courses at Capilano College

Kelli Sherbinin, a co-owner of EB, will be instructing in 2 different programs for Capilano College, beginning September 2007. Kelli will be leading programs in the Mountain Bike Operations Certificate Program and the Wilderness Leadership Program.

Riding Fool Hostel Camp: September 22, 23

Cumberland, BC: Sep 22, 23

Park the car and hop on the bike for this 2-day skills camp getaway in the relaxing community of Cumberland, BC which features the Riding Fool Hostel.

Improve your riding skills while experiencing new trails and meeting new riding friends. This camp is geared to accommodate both XC and DH riders of all levels and lead by professional instructors from Endless Biking: Darren Butler, Kelli Sherbinin, Geoff Pendrel and Lasha Reid.

The camp will start with skill sessions in the morning, breaking for a catered lunch at the Riding Fool Hostel and then out to the local trails to put your new skills into practice. The best part...you don't have to touch your vehicle once, as everything is within riding distance!! Riders will be split into ability levels.

EB's women's racing team

Endless Biking is proud to have an all-women racing team for 2007. The EB Chicka's have been representing all over Western Canada in 2007 with some great results in pro and ameteur classes.

This team was created to give women who were interested in giving racing a shot, an avenue and team environment to be apart of, while helping inspire other women to get out there as well.

Team Riders:

Amber Zirnhelt, Monika Marx, Meghan Illingworth, Kat Duffels, Colleen Keyland, Danielle Baker

These girls have been invading the mountain bike scene with there huge smiles and gigantic passion for riding bikes.

North Shore Ripper Series

It was a record setting turnout year for the Ripper Series in 2007. The Ripper Series is now a wrap for 2007, finishing the season with the Triple Crown fundraiser event. The fun factor was at way up at the Triple Crown and an incredible amount of fundraising acheived for local rider John Ramsden. Read more about the John Ramsden Fundraiser..

BC Bike Race: Celebrity guest ride, Stage 5

Darren Butler and Kelli Sherbinin were invited to represent EB at the BC Bike Race Celebrity Guest Ride on Stage 5 of the 7 stage race from Victoria to Whistler. Day 5 was a 60km stage full of Sunshine Coast trails and it included other guest riders such as Trevor Linden, Lesley Timlinson, Doug Detweller and Dean Payne.

2007 marked the inaugural dates for the BC Bike Race. A truly epic event that features some of the best trails in BC in a 7 day stage race from Victoria to Whistler. Particapants enter in teams of 2 and will work together to try to finish on top.

Endless Biking's Team News, Results

EB intructors, coaches and guides often sneak out on the weekend and attend various races around North America. From local and regional events, to provincial, national and international races and festivals; EB riders have had some great results.

EB instructor Geoff Pendrel hjust finished another strong showing at the Canadian Nationals this past week. Geoff finished 3rd and will reatin the ranking in hopes of securing a spot on teh Canadian Team for another season. Geoff has also won 2 differnt North Shore Ripper races in '07, winning the solo class each time.

Cynthia Young, one of EB's women instructors, entered the BC Bike Race and dominated the womens field throughout the 7 day event. Cynthia and Michelle Newton powered their way to a place in history by winning the women's overall title in convincing fashion.

Kelli Sherbinin has had an excellent year of results to date. Kelli has won a BC Cup, 3 different North Shore Ripper events and finished on the podium at The Rat Race and several other regional races.

First Friday Rides: Next ride August 3

EB's First Friday rides are a great way to ride wtih other EB members, EB coaches and EB volunteers alike. We split up into groups accordingly and meet for apres ride at a great local establishment, Bella Candela.

We generally ride on the North Shore and because it is only once a month and on the 1st Friday of every month, it is an easy ride to remember. We hope to see you on August 3rd!
