EB Riding Tip:

Brake setup: How many fingers do you brake with? These days, with the technology of disc brakes, we are able to have much more control of our brakes with much less effort.
Try moving your brake levers towards the center of the bike, so that you can comfortably squeeze the brake lever with one finger (index). This will give you all the power you need, much better control and it will improve your handlebar grip too!

Outdoor Show- Thanks!!

Posted: February 25, 2007

We'd like to thank everyone who took the time to fill out our survey at the Vancouver Outdoor Show, which really helps our sport as a whole. Very little information is available, locally, about the sport of mountain biking. Taking the time to to fill out this survey will be a big help, thank you.

We'd also like to thank many of our sponsors, partners and supporters who provided prizing throught the weekend as well as posters and stickers for the public. Thanks to Obsession: Bikes, Shimano Canada, Fox Racing Shox, Ryders Eyewear, Scott Bikes, Mt. Washington, Riding Fool Hostel, BC Bike Race, Mt. Seymour, NSMB.com and NS Ride.

EB at The VIMFF

Posted: February 22, 2007

EB co-owner Darren Butler and fellow mtb professional, Jay Hoots, were on hand to MC the Mountain Bike evening of the 10th annual Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival (VIMFF).

The evening included a remarkeable slide show from Robin McKinney, who has been bicycle touring the world since 1985. The night included short films full of creativity like Brother, a flurry of women's freeriding in The Bike Compilation and a glimpse into mountain biking's history and birthplace with a 15 minute rendition of Klunkerz. The evening was highlighted by an inspiring film, Asiemut, a story of a couple on a bike tour through Asia and India that challenges their very spirit and soul, amassing over 8000 kms in an adventure of a lifetime.

Endless Biking sponsored the festival's door prizes, donating several prizes to the event. The VIMFF continues until Saturday February 24th
