EB Riding Tip:

Cornering tip: To develop solid cornering skills for moderate to high speed flat corners, try rotating your torso to look into the desired direction of your turn with 'all 3 eyes'. As you increase speed, get lower and lower to keep a low centre of gravity, to be able to lean the bike over farther to gain traction and maintain momentum! Have fun!

2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer

If any of you have seen Darren or Kelli from Endless Biking out riding in the last few weeks, you have seen them on a sleek and sexy new frame without any paint or decals. Rocky Mountain unveiled their latest gem last weekend at the Sea Otter Classic in Monterey, California and now we can show you you the goods.

Check out the video below of the new Rocky Mountain Slayer as well as a follow up to the release answering some immediate questions live from the internet.  Very cool and worth a look.

Official release of 2011 Rocky Mountain Slayer

The details of the bike and follow up

The bike has been an absolute blast to ride and it is highlighted by not only an efficient design and curvy, durable tubing but by the details in the craftsmanship.  The bike features low maintenance pivots that only require one tool, as they are self-centering teardrop shapes that are brilliantly designed

Level 1 Instructor Training April 23-25

Posted: April 20, 2010

Interested in becoming a Mountain Bike Instructor?
EB’s MBIT will lead you through the essentials of breaking down the fundamental skills necessary to teach and guide riders in a very clear, concise and step by step manner that has proven to be highly successful.

The program starts with an evening of theory, understanding the role of an Instructor as well as teaching tactics and learning theories and strategies. The following two days are on the bikes, where we outline each skill’s teaching points, demonstrations, assessments and group management practices.  This program is not only great for helping other riders, the MBIT will improve your riding, guaranteed!

There are still a few spot left in our Level 1 Instructor Training course April 23-25 in North Vancouver, BC.

“I was thoroughly impressed by the overall presentation, attention to detail, the manual, the level of professionalism, the passion displayed throughout the course, and the learning breakthroughs that some of our instructors made this weekend” – Rich, Seattle

Sign up before May 1st and save HST tax!

Posted: April 9, 2010

Residents and businesses are going to be faced with an HST tax in British Columbia this spring which will add an additional tax to all of your purchases, on almost anything you purchase.  The tax is combination of the GST (5%) and the PST (7%) taxes but now  instead of one tax or the other, customers will be faced with one HST taxt of 12% on all purchases.

Sign up on any EB programs and services before May 1st, and you will NOT have to pay HST.  Once May 1st arrives, governments will be starting to enforce an HST charge on purchases.
