Great for riders that are intressted in giving mountain biking a try!

Curious to see what all the hype is about? Within this hour and a half session you will ride with a Certified Professional Instructor, learn some basic mountain bike skills, and venturing through the beautiful North Vancouver forest on an easy introductory trail. You will build that initial confidence to see you on your way down some of the North Shore's green trails.

Try Mountain Biking is the perfect way to offer your kid(s) the opportunity to test out mountain biking, and see if it is something for them. These sessions are often a stepping stone into some of our other youth lessons and camps. Once you start, it's hard to stop!

Get out into nature on one of our bikes & discover what mountain biking is all about!

Our Youth Try Mountain Biking is all about providing kids with that first pedal stroke into the world of riding off road. They will spend 1.5 hours with a certified professional instructor to get comfortable on their bike before exploring a fun, beginner trail!

This session is a great way to experience mountain biking for the first time before progressing onto our other Youth Lessons and Youth Rides!

Is this a lesson or a ride?

While this is a ride, we do include a basic lesson component to ensure each rider enjoys their experience of mountain biking to the full. We will ride up, through and down some smoother surface trails at an easy pace.

What to bring / wear?

- Water & Snacks to keep you going throughout the ride.

- Cycling / sports clothing & a rain jacket. (Dress in layers and avoid cotton clothing.)

Who will I be riding with?
