Equipment Manager/Mechanic - Full Time

We are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, motivated rider to join our team for throughout 2017 and beyond. We are all about providing the best mountain biking experiences possible for our customers, partners and staff. We have a large fleet of various Rocky Mountain Bikes for rent, from the mid range hardtail to high end carbon xc, all-mountain & downhill bikes. We’re looking for an organized, self-starter to manage our entire rental fleet and to ensure that all bikes are maintained to a high standard that our equipment sponsors would be proud of. Our Rocky Mountain fleet is outfitted with complete Shimano drivetrains, brakes and wheels along with Fox Suspension and seat-posts, therefore you must have experience in all aspects of these brands. This position is not required to work on public bikes but may be asked to work on the occasional bike that is not a fleet bike.

A day might include: Replacing a derailleur, bleeding brakes, creating product orders for shop inventory, taking bookings on the phone, rebuilding pivots on full-suspension bikes, having an awkward conversation with a customer about a damaged bike, taking out the garbage/recycling and/or truing a wheel. It might also include going for a ride to test a bike, changing fork oil or swapping tires on multiple bikes.
